Lynne
O'Connor is Instinctive
Lynne has been involved in the world
of usability since 1998, when she became Usability Project
Manager for Citibank's Global Electronic Customer Delivery
Division, working out of New York City.
In this role she was responsible for putting in place a
user-centred design methodology for Citibank's Global Internet
Banking Application. This included defining standards
and guidelines, conducting workflow analysis sessions with end users and user testing through multiple
iterations of the application.
On returning to New Zealand in 2000, Lynne continued her
involvement in usability. Lynne joined The Web (a
leading web development company) as a project manager and
instigated the introduction of user testing to the project
lifecycle.
At The Web, Lynne conducted user testing on re-designed
websites for The National Library, The National Bank of New
Zealand, House of Travel and AMP Hendersons.
Working as an independent consultant since 2002, Lynne has
conducted usability tests throughout New Zealand as well as
Sydney and the United Kingdom.
